Terms and Conditions of lincs wold walking (LWW)

In making a booking and paying a deposit, you agree to our terms & conditions.  We recommend that you print a copy off and retain with your booking details.
Booking and payment of deposit
A non refundable deposit of £10 per person per walking day is payable upon booking (Full payment is required if booking less than 7 days in advance). Bookings made more than 1 month in advance must be paid in full at least 14 days prior to the walk or first walk. A booking may not be considered as definite until confirmation has been received from us.
Most walks require a minimum of two participants in addition to the walk leader.  We reserve the right to cancel your booking if the minimum number is not achieved by the date of the walk.
Payment of the balance
If a balance is remaining, this is payable by the first day of your walking programme.
Accommodation
You are responsible for booking your own accommodation. Links are provided to a range of local accommodations from which you can choose (others are available), but LWW cannot be held responsible for these.
If you wish to change your booking
If after your booking has been confirmed, you wish to transfer it to another date, LWW will make every effort to accommodate your wishes so long as we receive written confirmation from the person that made the booking.  LWW cannot guarantee however that they will be able to meet your needs.
If you cancel your booking
If you or any member of your party needs to cancel, this should be done in writing by the person who made the booking.
If the booking is cancelled, the deposit paid will not be refunded.
If LWW cancel your booking
In the unlikely event of LWW having to cancel your booking, you will be offered either a full refund of monies paid, or transfer to another date.  We will not be liable for any additional costs or expenses incurred.
Bad weather conditions
LWW walk in all weathers unless it is considered to be unsafe to do so.  LWW reserve the right to change the itinerary or walk routes for safety reasons in poor weather conditions. No refunds will be made if you decide not to walk due to weather conditions.
Rights of admission
LWW reserves the right to refuse a booking or debar a person from participating in our walks, if in LWW’s reasonable opinion their participation is likely to cause distress, annoyance or damage to themselves, other customers, or our walk leaders.  This includes participants who fail to advise LWW of a medical condition or disability which prevents their full participation in the walks, and participants who we believe may be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. It also includes participants who in the opinion of the walk leader are not properly clothed or equipped to enjoy the walk in safety. LWW are not responsible for any inconvenience or costs incurred as a result.
Parental responsibility
Families are welcomed by LWW. However for the comfort and convenience of all walkers children under the age of 13 are only accepted by prior agreement on our group walks.
If you wish to make a booking for your family to walk as a group either in its own or with another family then younger children are accepted. LWW must be informed of the ages of the children so that appropriate walks can be chosen by LWW
Parents or guardians must accompany young people under the age of 18 and undertake full responsibility and supervision of them at all times.
Insurance/Risk
LWW will make every reasonable effort to ensure your safety, but you must accept that walking in the countryside even on low level paths is not without risk to personal safety and the safety of others.  We strongly recommend that you have adequate insurance cover for personal accident and personal liability.
We also recommend that you take out holiday cancellation insurance if appropriate.
Website accuracy
LWW believes that the website is accurate at the present time.  LWW reserve the right to make changes.
Complaints procedure
If you have a complaint during your walking programme, you must notify your Tony at the time of the issue and he will do his best to resolve the problem.
Should it not be possible to resolve the issue at that time, you should put your complaint in writing to Tony Groom Kenwick, Wold View, Fotherby, Lincs.
